How Does Legends: Battle for Earth Slot Work
Online slot machines are some of the most popular online casino games, largely because of how easy they are to play. This includes Legends: Battle for Earth which follows many of the traditional online slot machine rules.
To get started with Legends: Battle for Earth, players can click on the “Stake” button to set their bet from $0.10 to $150. Once the player is happy with the chosen bet size, all they need to do is press “Spin” to start the game.
Legends: Battle for Earth Game Features
As players spin the reels in Legends: Battle for Earth, a variety of features can trigger.
Wild Tool Box
A toolbox with a glowing question mark on it acts as the wild symbol in the base game. Only two of these symbols can appear on the grid at a time (one on the first three reels and one on the last three). If a wild symbol lands, it has the ability to substitute for every other symbol, except scatter symbols.
The Wild Tool Box feature also adds special modifiers to three to eight random symbols. These modifiers include:
- Wild symbols: A random symbol will turn into a wild.
- Multiplier modifier: A multiplier of 2x, 3x, or 5x will be added to a random symbol.
If several multipliers appear in the same position, their values will be added together and then applied to any wins. Keep in mind that each Wild Tool Box can only grant up to five modifiers of the same kind on a single spin.
Double Your Chances
In the top-left corner of the game screen, there is a golden horseshoe with an “on-off” toggle next to it. If the player turns this feature on, it doubles their chances of triggering the Showdown Spins feature.
However, each spin with this feature active will cost more than the standard bet. Depending on the bet size, this feature can cost anywhere from an additional $0.04 to an additional $60 per spin.
Showdown Spins
The Showdown Spins feature is unlocked when three or more scatter symbols appear anywhere on the grid in the same spin. This feature is played as a “battle” between the superheros and the supervillains.
The more scatter symbols that land on the triggering spin, the higher the chance that the superheroes (and the player) will win the battle:
- Three scatters: The round kicks off with 1,000 player and enemy health points.
- Four scatters: The feature starts with 1,250 player and enemy health points, and the first spin is guaranteed to include at least one ally #1 through #3 and one enemy #1 through #3.
- Five scatters: The feature starts with 1,500 player and enemy health points, and at least two allies and enemies #1 through #3 will appear on the first spin.
- Six scatters: The feature starts with 2,000 player and enemy health points, and the ally mini-boss and enemy mini-boss are guaranteed to appear on the first spin.
But what do these numbers mean?
During the showdown spins round, the grid changes to a 6×1 format and will split into two sides: heroes on the left and villains on the right. Only character symbols, empty tiles, and boost toolboxes can appear in this round. Each of the character symbols comes with a set attack power and cash prize. The attack power plays an important role because the end goal is to deplete the supervillain’s health points.
The allied characters offer the following powers:
- Ally #1: Twenty attack power and a 3x cash prize.
- Ally #2: Fifty attack power and 10x cash prize.
- Ally #3: One hundred and fifty attack power and a 30x cash prize.
- Ally #4: Three hundred attack power and a 150x cash prize.
- Ally #5 (mini-boss): Six hundred attack power and a cash prize of 500x, 1,000x, 1,500x, or 2,000x.
The enemy characters offer the following:
- Enemy #1: Fifty attack power and a 2x to 200x cash prize.
- Enemy #2: One hundred attack power and a 5x to 200x cash prize.
- Enemy #3: Two hundred attack power and a 20x to 300x cash prize.
- Enemy #4: Four hundred attack power and a 100x to 300x cash prize.
- Enemy #5: Eight hundred attack power and a cash prize of 500x to 2,000x.
When allies and enemies land on the grid at the same time, they will start to battle, beginning with the characters closest to each other. When two characters battle, each of them will lose attack power equal to that of their opponent. When the attack power of a character reaches 0, they’re destroyed. When enemies are destroyed, their cash prizes are collected, up to a maximum of 3,000x. When allies are destroyed, their cash prizes are added to a pool, which is only collected if the feature ends with the enemies being defeated.
If characters on either side of the grid have been destroyed, but there are still characters on the opposing side that have not attacked yet, these characters will attack the health points on the opposite side.
Any allied characters that survive a spin will get +10 attack power at the end of each spin. This round will end when either the player’s health points or the enemy health points reach 0. If the player’s health points reach zero, the player will only receive the money from defeated enemy characters. If the enemies health points reach zero, the player will receive the total payout for this feature.
Booster Tool Box
This symbol is only available during the Showdown Spins feature. If it lands on the left-hand side of the grid (the allied side), it will grant a minimum of +25 attack power to all allied characters on the grid. If it lands on the right-hand side of the grid, a minimum of +10x will be added to the enemy’s cash prize.
Buy Feature
Players also have the option to purchase entry into the showdown spins round at the price of 100x the player’s bet. When players purchase the feature, the next spin is guaranteed to include at least three scatter symbols to trigger the Showdown Spins feature.
